The 3rd WSAF (World Sport Aikido Federation) World Championships were held in Tenri, Japan from 15th July to 17th July.

In total there were 650 competitors from the UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, America, New Zealand, Philippines, Japan and Brazil, showcasing all Aikido styles.
